Interdisciplinary Speech, Language and Acquisition Laboratory

This laboratory’s main aim is to foster collaboration in order to carry out studies and the exchange of ideas in the realm of linguistics, especially with regard to the analysis of contact situations and language acquisition.

The main objectives of the laboratory are:

  • Fostering the exchange of ideas about the fundamental principles of language and its components,
  • Studying language from different perspectives, mainly linguistic variation in different contexts (with language contact situations among them),
  • Implementing methodologies that are specific to corpus linguistics and combining them with experimental techniques that are linked to social ciences.
